Ist.May: Labour Day
Throughout the whole world we have seen the Workers Rallies.A question comes how important are the Unions this year?It is true that the Government's,Investors,
Shareholders,Managers have been successfully disempowered  the Unions by giving the Union Leaders certain incentives to "deviate" the aspirations of the Workers.

In our case we have seen the Union Leaders occupying Senior positions in the government to a certain extent in the Private Sector and the new crop which is inexperienced  have to lead.At the same they  "eyed" positions in the government which translates to more money and self enrichment.

The Workers are struggling to make ends meet yet they pay tax.The inflation has outmatched  their salaries. It is painful to hear someone saying:"The government cannot create job opportunities but the private sector should lead" Perhaps in other countries the Private Sector actively support the labour incentives.

Here in South Africa there are doors which can be opened by the government like Setas and the reasonable finance assistance. The long bereucracy which includes accreditation. The Youth should prove themselves. Some Unemployed are placed in EPWP which is $43.50 monthly as well as  $19.17 monthly in social grants.
